The official (and predictable) answer by the white house to the petition regarding the disclosure of any material that had to do with alien contacts was pretty much what everyone expected.
"We are searching for ET, but no evidence yet" - This is basically the way of answering to the UFO subject used from the first documented sightings to our times. Trying doesn't hurt, but anyone who signed the petition should have expected this, there have been many attempts throughout history to find out the truth, and some were successful, just take a look at some of the declassified documents that have been found over the years.
The proof is all there, the white house will never admit something like this. The UFO subject is delicate, and it doesn't take much to be ridiculized by everyone after talking about it, this is probably one of the main reasons for them to not divulgate any info about the evidence.
Even if the white house didn't admit anything (understandable) we still have some proof available to us, you just have to know where to look for it!
